Spin City (not the television show starring Barry Boswick)

Today I did another two routes, the first was for Boston Organics and the second was for Enterprise Farms. The first route started in the ran and I ended up in many puddles with feet like sponges in the first hour. However, I managed to get all my deliveries done in 3 hours and Erik upon finishing his took most of my empty bins back to Boston Organics so I wouldn’t have to go all the way from Inman Square to Charlestown. Wenzday, my boss called and said to go home, change into dry clothes, eat lunch and chill for an hour or so before going to Davis Square to get the Enterprise Farms food. Enterprise Farms was easy to deliver (5 tiny boxes the sizes of 30 racks) but it took a lot of pedaling and a lot of miles. I did one drop at Tufts Universit, another nearby in Somerville, and then the last three between Inman and Central Squares in Cambridge before returning my trike and going home on the trusty Schwinn 3 Speed.

Got some good news, Metro Ped is planning on expanding, and if everything goes through today we will be moving from Charlestown at the Sullivan Square rotary to my neighborhood of Union Square in Somerville in a space 3 times the size and sharing it with Open Bicycle. This means my 1 mile bike commute becomes a 1 block walking commute!
